A straightforward request for a new typographic design turned into a bit of a journey, visualizing a complex flavor with a quirky, playful name. They had me at Moon Rock.

The flavor itself provided great cues for developing a color palette. Once completed, the selected hues' vibrancy had me thinking about 1970's travel posters to exotic places. Is the moon exotic? I don't know, but it is quite a journey, and I was reminded of how the world was fascinated with NASA and space travel in the '60s and '70s. The product logo works to capture both the retro-future and travel poster vibe that can be found in the typographic design of those decades.
